Meet the doctor

Krisy D. Howard, DMD

Dr. Krisy Howard owns and operates Mt. Sterling Smiles, PSC. She and her three sons are proud residents of Montgomery County. Dr. Howard is an animal lover at heart. Her family is completed by their three West Highland Terriers. Dr. Howard is an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan and enjoys everything Disney and traveling. Dr. Howard is an active member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and the Bluegrass Dental Society. Dr. Howard loves learning new techniques that benefit her patients' dental treatment and attends continuing education courses throughout the year.

Experience

Dr. Howard is a lifelong resident of the Bluegrass State and grew up in Salyersville, Kentucky. She attended Magoffin County High School and Morehead State University before pursuing her dental degree from the University of Louisville, College of Dentistry. In 2003, Dr. Howard opened her first dental practice in Lexington and in 2006, she was proud to open Mt. Sterling Smiles. Dr. Howard focuses her treatment on general and family dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetics. She enjoys bringing smiles to patients' faces and looks forward to your visit to our office.

Rachel W. May, DMD

Rachel W. May (Wilson), DMD is IV moderate and oral sedation certified and has additional training in full-mouth restorations. Dr. W. May (Wilson) is a loving wife and mother to two children, two cats, and a dog! As a family, they love to hike, spend summers at the lake, and cook and try new foods.
